The analysis
The Elo model says this is a pick'em (Chikadze 51%) and the market says Brito is a -340 favorite. I side with the market and it isn't close - Elo is carrying Chikadze's 2020-21 kick-boxing peak (1621) and hasn't fully priced the -43 trend of a 38-year-old on a three-fight skid who was knocked out by a spinning back fist from Kevin Vallejos and then sat out 267 days. Chikadze has lost four of five, and the pattern in the Allen and Onama decisions was identical: opponents closed distance, put him on the fence or the mat, and his output collapsed. Brito is exactly that profile turned up: 3.23 takedowns per 15 at 67% accuracy against Chikadze's 65% TDD and 0.18 TD/15 - Giga has no offensive grappling and has never shown he can get up quickly. Brito's 1.2 sub attempts per 15 and guillotine on Leavitt make the submission live, but his finishes come in rounds 1-2 and when they don't land he tends to fade and get outpointed by patient fighters (Gomis, Sabatini). Chikadze isn't patient anymore and doesn't have the takedown defense to make Brito work that hard. The Chikadze path is a single Giga Kick to the liver early while Brito is still on the outside - his 74-inch reach on a 6-foot frame against a 5'8 wrestler is genuinely awkward. That's the 25-30% and it's why I'm at 66 rather than 74. Most likely outcome: Brito gets top position in each round, threatens chokes, and takes a clear decision with a real chance of finishing in round two.
Brito's stronger takedown production and 67% takedown accuracy offer a route to winning rounds against Chikadze's 65% takedown defense. Chikadze has higher striking volume, better striking defense and a slight reach advantage, making prolonged standing exchanges a risk for Brito. Brito's grappling advantage earns a moderate lean; missing finish and control data limit confidence. Method probabilities are conditional on a Brito win.
